Seeing people once a week is recommended for most of the people in our practice. Sessions are 45 minutes in length with the exception of the initial evaluation which is 60 minutes. Usually, by the second or third session we can give you an estimate of how long your treatment may take. Of course, this may change as more information is gathered over time. Ultimately, how long you remain in treatment and how often you decide to come is completely up to you.
Yes, but we are not in-network with all insurance plans. Also, members of the practice may differ in their network affiliations. Check with your individual health insurance provider to be certain.
We accept most insurance plans; however, it is recommended that you call your insurance company to verify your benefits prior to the first appointment. If we are not in-network, you should ask if you have any out-of-network benefits. If so, you may receive reimbursement by your insurance company, even if you have to pay out of pocket first. Many people feel that this is a good strategy for finding a provider of their choosing, rather than being forced to stay within their insurance network.
